Dr. Melissa Drake is a force to be reckoned with! A seasoned STEM leader, she's blazed a trail from engineering to education. From the thrill of watching a satellite launch at NASA to the satisfaction of mentoring the next generation, her career is out of this world 🚀

Melissa is also a trailblazer! As the second female National President of SHPE, she shattered glass ceilings and lifted up countless women in tech. But her leadership doesn't stop there. She's also revitalized the Phoenix chapter of Girls in Tech, turning it into a vibrant community for women in the industry.

She believes in the power of confidence, when asked what she wishes every woman interested in getting into tech industry knew, she says "Do not be intimidated if you are the only woman in the room! Fake confidence and you will be become confident!"
