This page sets forth the guidelines for use of
Google trademarks
you should consider when naming and describing your extension. Your use of any
Google trademarks is always subject to the
Google Permissions.
Using Google Workspace Marketplace badge
To promote your Google Workspace Marketplace app, you can add an HTML badge to
your digital marketing assets. See
Create a badge to promote your app.
Choosing an application or developer name and description
Don't use any Google trademarks or any confusingly similar marks as the name of
your extension or company.
An exception is if your product is compatible with a Google product, you may
make reference to that Google product by using the phrases "for", "for use
with", or "compatible with" before the trademark, including in the title of the
application as shown below. In such cases, be sure to include the ™ symbol with
the Google trademark. Example: "for Gmail™".
Using Google logos
Don't use Google brand elements or modified versions of Google brand elements as
the logo for your application.
Using screenshots
For illustrative or informative purposes, you may use standard, unaltered
screenshots of Google services. For further details, check out the
Google Permissions
page.
Giving proper attribution
Do give proper attribution to Google for any use of their
trademarks
in your application name or in your description. Example:
[[["Easy to understand","easyToUnderstand","thumb-up"],["Solved my problem","solvedMyProblem","thumb-up"],["Other","otherUp","thumb-up"]],[["Missing the information I need","missingTheInformationINeed","thumb-down"],["Too complicated / too many steps","tooComplicatedTooManySteps","thumb-down"],["Out of date","outOfDate","thumb-down"],["Samples / code issue","samplesCodeIssue","thumb-down"],["Other","otherDown","thumb-down"]],["Last updated 2024-12-19 UTC."],[[["Avoid using Google trademarks in your extension or company name, unless indicating compatibility with phrases like \"for\" or \"compatible with\" followed by the trademark and ™ symbol."],["Do not use Google logos or altered versions as your application logo."],["Utilize unaltered screenshots of Google services for illustrative purposes, ensuring compliance with Google Permissions."],["When using Google trademarks, provide clear attribution by mentioning the trademark and stating \"is a trademark of Google LLC\"."],["Promote your Google Workspace Marketplace app using HTML badges by following the provided guidelines."]]],[]]
