Google Wallet emulates a physical transit card. The information seen on a ticket is essentially the same as that on a physical card.
Here are some of the ticket types that we support:
Type |
Description/Examples |
Value-on-card (VOC) or pay-as-you-go (PAYG) |
Stored value transit card where the value decreases as the user rides. |
Single-use tickets |
Single and return ticket from point A to B, zone A to B, or flat fare |
Multi-use tickets / passes |
Category that includes periods (e.g. hour, day, or week passes) all the way up to yearly passes. |
